It is a great pleasure to welcome athletes and team staff from across Europe to a venue that has been a reference point for Italian and international canoeing for more than seventy years. The Ivrea Canoe Stadium combines tradition, technical expertise and a strong sporting culture.
The 2026 European Canoe Slalom and Kayak Cross Championships represent the culmination of a season of high-level preparation. Each run highlights months of dedication and continuous improvement, reflecting the highest standards of sporting excellence.
These Championships celebrate sporting excellence while promoting the core values of our discipline: respect, wellbeing, fair play and cooperation among athletes, teams and nations. Canoeing is a shared language that encourages dialogue and mutual understanding, extending beyond the field of play.
